Tumbleweed Classic at Dodge City Raceway Park Postponed to May 3

Dodge City, KS — Due to the impending weather forecast for the upcoming weekend, officials at Dodge City Raceway Park have made the decision to postpone the Tumbleweed Classic originally scheduled for Saturday, April 19. The new date for the event is Saturday, May 3.

“With the threat of poor weather conditions, we feel it’s in the best interest of our drivers, teams, and fans to move the event,” said Kyler Fetters. “We want everyone to enjoy a full night of racing without the challenges that inclement weather brings.”

The rescheduled Tumbleweed Classic on May 3 will now serve as Dodge City Raceway Park’s official 2025 big track season opener, kicking off what’s expected to be an exciting season of dirt track action in southwest Kansas.
