For most events, the pit gates will open at 3:00PM when the racing starts at 7:00PM, for Short Track Series the pits gates will open at 4:00PM, unless it is a Hoosier Great Plains Predator Series race, then the pit gates open at 11:00AM.

Weather permitting, racing will start at 7:00PM, this start time can vary slightly if the car counts are high, the track needs additional maintenance or conditions require the time to be adjusted.

The classes of cars thar run at DCRP are…Sprint Cars, Late Models, Modifieds, Northern Sport Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, and Micros. Most classes are IMCA sanctioned however the schedule can vary from week to week. The Short Track Series classes are the same each week. They consist of NOW 600 Restricted, Winged A, Sportsman and Non-Winged A.

To keep DCRP affordable for families, tickets are $10.00 for adult general admission. Children 12 and younger are free.

Currently, advance tickets can be purchased by calling our track office at 620-225-3277. If you are interested in advance tickets, they can be mailed out or held in Will Call and picked up on the day of the event.

Any non-participant is welcome to be in the pits with the purchase a $30.00 pit pass and a signed insurance waiver. Parents can sign a special minor release waiver for their children to be in the pit area. There are no discounts for children in the pit area. For safety reasons, we encourage children to sit in the grandstands at no charge.

Pit passes are $30.00 for the main track events and $25.00 for Mini DCRP races. Minor competitors at Mini DCRP short track events are $25.00 and minor non-competitor pit passes are $15.00.

All seating is general admission.

There is ample seating at Dodge City Raceway Park for spectators requiring ADA seating. Seating is available close to the action or up high in the grandstands. An elevator is available to transport spectators to the top deck of the grandstands for optimal viewing.

Concession staples include burgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, quarter pound hot dogs, footlong corndogs, brisket mac & cheese, smoked pork on a stick, and other great smoked items. Energy drinks, hydrating beverages and sodas are all Pepsi branded products.

Since Dodge City Raceway Park has concessions and beer available for sale at the track, we do not allow attendees to bring coolers into the facility.

While seated in the grandstands and to be courteous to fellow attendees, smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Compliance is appreciated.

Dodge City Raceway Park is supported by our fine beer distributors. Our designated beer stand offers a variety of ice-cold Coors Light, Budweiser or Modelo for sale at our events.

Event tickets will be honored if the event is run on a rescheduled date due to rain or other bad weather. There are no refunds.

Generally 5-6 classes are scheduled on a race night. Classes can vary between weeks. Special event dates have been created to host classes outside of the IMCA weekly classes.

Yes, motorcycles can park on paved surface to the left of the main ticket booth.

This pet friendly facility. Everyone is encouraged to pick up after their pet.

At DCRP, we do have discounted admissions for students, seniors and military.

Race results are posted immediately after the conclusion of the classes A-main, and competitors pass tech inspection. All class scoring and timing is hosted through the My Race Pass Application. Results are posted at MyRacePass.com and on the Dodge City Raceway Park website linked to the app.

Souvenirs and apparel are available at the Official Dodge City Raceway Park Souvenir Stand. The new Dodge City Raceway logo hats, t-shirts and hoodies in many sizes and colors are available, along with special event shirts.

Yes, racing fuel is available for purchase in the pit area on event days, through our parts vendor Speed Shack at Scott’s Auto.

Speed Shack at Scott’s Auto also provides miscellaneous parts, tear-offs and smaller parts in their vending trailer in the pits at DCRP.

Event competitors can stay overnight in the pit area at DCRP. Water, electrical hook-ups and trash dumpster are available to overnight campers. Please be courteous and keep your area clean. Nearby electric only camping is available at a minimal charge. Contact the track office 620-225-3277 for more information.

Each year competitors are encouraged to register online if they choose to race at Dodge City Raceway Park. Signing up early will expedite entry into the pits on opening night at DCRP. Registrations can be completed online at MyRacePass.com, or forms will be downloadable through the DCRP website.

Competitor’s payout is available soon after the conclusion of the final class’s A-main in the Racetrack Office. If drivers opt to not pick up their payout, it will be mailed to the address on file in a timely manner. It’s important to register for competition at DCRP if you want payout to be mailed.

As a historic destination, Dodge City hosts numerous accommodation options for any budget. DCRP encourages attendees to book their in-town stays at one of the area hotels. The hotels in turn support the raceway, as part of the Get Into Dodge tax initiative.
