Race Recap and Results: Kelby Fetters, Rich Koop, DeeKan McRoberts and Brodie Williams Find Victory Lane in the Boothill Showdown

8/16/2024 Dodge City, Kansas (www.racedcrp.com) - Friday Night saw another great night of racing at Dodge City Raceway Park, as the American Sprint Car Series and the Now600 Regional Series competed.

In the Sportsman Micro division, the #4 of Kelby Fetters, (Jetmore, Kansas), held off his competitors for the 15-lap feature. Now his 5th Sportsman Micro win of the year, Fetters looks to continue the momentum.

In the Restricted Micros, the #01 of Brodie Williams, (Spearville, Kansas), added another win to his resume as he blitzed the field Friday evening. 15-laps was easy work for Williams as he cashed in his third restrictor win of the season.

With the A-Class Micro division, the #99 of Rich Koop, (Garden City, Kansas), held off the field for 15-laps to grab his first win of the season. Koop had to hold off an aggressive drive by the #112 of Daniel Williams, (Dodge City, Kansas), as he fell just one spot short. 

The Non-Wing class seen its first of first Friday Night, as the #75 of DeeKan McRoberts, (Dodge City, Kansas), held off a group of veterans. With McRoberts starting on the pole, “The Real Deal” showed how he earned that name wiring the field for 15-laps.

The next race at Dodge City Raceway Park will be on August 24th, 2024. Pits open at 3PM, Gates at 5PM with racing to start at 7:30 PM. General Admission is free thanks to Croell.
